Breviario sonoro 3 : folclore musical, resistencias e hibridación hoy
In this breviary we address the politics of folklore and the ways in which it survives and mutates, also today, with special attention to the bagpipe and its role in the creation of cultural identities, its historical process and controversy. It has contributions from the international Asturian bagpiper José Ángel Hevia, from the musicologist and bagpipe scholar Javier Campos Calvo-Sotelo, and from Cristina Pato, a bagpiper.
In addition, we will learn about the Archipelago project, by José Luis Espejo, and how this aerophone has been incorporated into it.
A program made in collaboration with the bagpiper and musicologist Gonzalo Fernandez Ruíz de Zuazo, and with contributions from David Prieto and Fruela Fernández.
