We are hosting at our Madrid venue a presentation and promotional event for the project @escueladelospueblos \u2013 Escuela de los Pueblos \u2018Josefa Mart\u00edn Luengo\u2019<\/strong>. Located in the region of Las Merindades<\/em> (Burgos), the aim is to create a formative and experiential space for facilitators working to revitalize and defend our territories. It also seeks to become a training center for the social movement, helping to strengthen ties between rural and urban environments, fostering mutual respect and understanding \u2014 both essential for their survival.<\/p>

Hear directly from its promoters: the school\u2019s participatory ecosystem is broad and diverse, made up of a wide network of organizations who, through education, aim to build a strong rural-urban popular movement and fight for a living countryside. The project is driven by the grassroots movement Colectivo Memoria Viva de los Pueblos<\/strong>, with the support of @revistasoberaniaalimentaria<\/strong> (Food Sovereignty Magazine), @bielaytierra<\/strong> (Biela y Tierra), the Universidad Rural del Cerrato<\/strong>, and Campo Adentro<\/strong>, which is part of a support network spread across the country.<\/p>

The project is based in a 16th-century manor house located in Quecedo de Valdivielso<\/em> (Burgos), which will host the school. Its reconstruction will require the support of all of us.<\/p>
